Need Help with Transmission codes

I have not been able to remedy my intermitten flashing S&M lights. I've checked all the electrical connections I can find. Just went by to see my mechanic who uses a Snap-on Modis machine to read my codes (with a Land Rover chip). He got the following transmission fault codes and I'm hoping someone has seen these before.

11 CAN Timeout Monitoring
10 CAN BUS Monitoring
0F AN Level Monitoring (that's zero-F)

Go to your local parts store and have them read your codes for free, then get back to us with the fault code numbers.

What Mikey said... his (your mechanic) codes are very different than what a generic obd2 reader will come up with, along with the LR Testbook. if you don't have this (d2) you are wrong (just mess'n with ya).... down load, then read pages 44-18 thru 44-20.. this can shed some light. battery voltage also plays a BIG role in this, which needs to be checked also..

So, get them codes and get back wit dus yo. ;)

Here are the codes that Auto Zone's machine came up with. A lot more detail than I've gotten elsewhere.

P1871
Definition: Transmission mechanical transfer case 4x4 switch circuit failure

P1873
Definition: Automatic transaxle concerns

P0600
Definition: Loss of serial communication link
Explanation: The ECM did not detect communication between the modules
Probable Cause: 1. Shorted sensor or circuit
2. Open or short circuit condition
3. Failed control module

Bill, why do you suppose my mechanic's codes are different? The chips he uses are Land Rover specific. Are they testbook codes?

Similar issues

I have had the same problem with my s/m lights coming on and the service light. The original code numbers were p1842 and p1843. According to my Rover workshop manual the fault description is * CAN level monitoring (p1842) and * CAN time-out monitoring (p1843). I have read that it could be low voltage? I ran a check on my D2 and its running 13.1 volts. All of this started after i gave a guy that was broken down a jump start. Any ideas?
