Cooler Line Disconnect - or Remove Rad Without Coolers

I've seen posts indicating the rad can be pulled without pulling the transmission / engine oil coolers. That'd be real nice since I've got everything undone and can't seem to get three of the lines to disconnect. I've sprayed them with with carb cleaner and the rings seem free enough to move I just can't get enough compression to release what I guess must be ball locks?

Any advice would help. I'd almost prefer to pull the rad separately at this point - still looking at the rave to figure out if I can pull that off?

I hope there is advice offered soon as we are looking to replace our radiator at the same time we replace the high pressure power steering line (runs under the radiator and and you may want to check your line as it gets pretty rusty and is easy to replace before installing the new radiator).

There have been past posts regarding removing various parts such as the viscous fan, pulling the air box and the battery box to access the radiator mounting bolts (a process not outlined in RAVE). I cannot recall seeing any stickies or outlines for this process.

Most of the radiator removal suggestion spring up because of member's experiences with messing with the quick connects for the transmission and oil coolers are equated to pandora's box.

Turns out the answer is squeeze the things harder. It's a pain. Taking the coolers off while the rad is in the vehicle is possible apparently - however I didn't understand how to do it until after it was already out!
